B.KELS STUDIO
is the LA-based independent work of artist + animator, Kelsey Boncato.Boncato’s illustrations and animations are characterized by their textural, organic, and emotive qualities. Her multimedia approach blends analog and digital techniques, creating a unique and intuitive style. She has collaborated with designers, artists, musicians, and filmmakers, and her animated music videos have been showcased internationally.
In addition to her animation work, Boncato has contributed to various film and installation art projects, focusing on animation, editing, and compositing for contemporary artists. A recipient of the 2016 Discovery Scholar Prize, she holds a B.A. in Art from the USC Roski School of Art & Design, with an emphasis in intermedia.
