B.KELS STUDIO
is the LA-based independent work of artist + animator, Kelsey Boncato.Drawing from a background in illustration and life drawing, Boncato’s designs and animations are textural, organic and emotive. Her multimedia and intuitive approach combines analog and digital techniques. She’s worked and collaborated with designers, artists, musicians and filmmakers. Her animated music videos have screened internationally.
Boncato has also worked in various film and installation art projects –animating, editing, and compositing for artists in contemporary art. Recipient of the 2016 Discovery Scholar Prize, she holds a B.A. in Art from USC Roski School of Art & Design with an emphasis in intermedia and printmaking.
